Job description

Location: San Francisco office, onsite 5 days a week.

Visa (hard filter): TN or H1B transfer only; NOT H1B in year 3 or year 6. Check visa status early.

Level: Mid-level, 2–4 years, able to own critical systems early.

Domain: crypto trading (perps, cross-chain spot, prediction markets); exchange/trading infra (CEX, DEX, Hyperliquid); HFT and market making; portfolio margin and collateral; blockchain protocols and validators (Rust L1/L2).

Job requirements

  • Production Rust (must)

  • Async programming with Tokio (must)

  • Low-latency, performance-focused backend (ms-level APIs)

  • Distributed systems, state consistency across async processes (voting, consensus, coordination)

  • REST and WebSocket APIs

  • Live market data, multi-venue coordination

  • Risk and liquidation engine logic

  • Blockchain state machines for trading and settlement

  • Docker

Traits: performance/latency-driven, systems thinker, comfortable with startup pace and ownership.
