Job description

Loancrate builds AI-native tooling to automate mortgage origination (>$85B in loans powered; 80 people, $44M raised, fully remote).

Comp: $150K-$350K + competitive equity. Location: Remote, US (US hours). Visa: Visa transfers only (OPT, H1B transfers).

Responsibilities

  • Architect, build and launch multi-step AI agents that digitize mortgage ops workflows

  • Integrate 3rd-party lending services APIs (disclosures, automated underwriting, fraud)

  • Build next-gen job processing infrastructure on AWS for observability/reliability

  • Ship to production on day one; mentor less senior engineers

Tech stack: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express, GraphQL/Apollo, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS (ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, Kafka, ElasticSearch), Terraform

Job requirements

  • 7-25 yrs full-stack web dev, design through deployment; 5+ yrs senior-level

  • TypeScript/React/Node/GraphQL/Postgres; AWS + Terraform

  • AI product dev lifecycle (evals, datasets) preferred

  • Security mindset, SRE mindset, complex relational schema design

  • US hours; visa transfers only
