Porter (porter.run): PaaS running in customers' own clouds. 24 people, $21.5M raised, NYC.

Comp: $220K-$320K + competitive equity. Location: 5 days in-office NYC; 30 days PTO + 30 days remote/yr; relocation support. Visa: Visa transfers (OPT/H1B) and new sponsorships (H1B, TN); new H1B only for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Found the Secure Engineering function; drive internal security roadmap across ~20-person eng org

  • Build and ship customer-facing security products

  • Write production Go to harden multi-cloud infra (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes in hundreds of customer accounts

  • Own cloud/container security end-to-end: IAM, network security, secrets, workload isolation, security logging

  • Engage directly with customers' security engineers

Job requirements

  • 4+ yrs infrastructure/platform engineering; software engineer first
