Job description

Porter (porter.run): PaaS running in customers' own clouds. 24 people, $21.5M raised, NYC.

Comp: $220K-$320K + competitive equity. Location: 5 days in-office NYC; 30 days PTO + 30 days remote/yr. Visa: Visa transfers (OPT/H1B) and new sponsorships (H1B, TN); new H1B only for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Build/maintain software that provisions, manages and rolls out infra changes across hundreds of customer cloud accounts

  • Design cloud-agnostic architecture scaling from seed to public companies

  • Engineer reliable automated systems for multi-cloud Kubernetes at scale

  • Work directly with customers on Slack/calls; help broker large deals

  • Raise the bar on infra reliability and code quality
